roadcrew 40 | 3 is a relatively new concept to me, that I’ve been preparing for a long time. For the past 7 plus years, God has had myself and my wife, in various stages of tests and trials. When we got married those tests and trials seemed to be on pause for 1 month. Following our first month of marriage, God said, “The fun is over.” We were not sure at the time what that meant, but we now can look back and see that it was time to get to work for His Kingdom. We did not know what God was having us work on, to be honest. God has called me to Ministry, but He never lead me to a bible school, or seminary. He instead took me to the desert. He took me, through physical situations, to the depths of my spiritual walk. He had me begin tearing down all the mindsets, desires, thoughts, wills, and plans that I had for my life, He then began to fill in the low character parts I had, developing fruits of the spirit, developing endurance, to finish what He began.
Over the course of 7 years, God has given me an outstanding amount of Revelations that have helped me every step of the way. He has given them through daily life, worship songs, interactions with people, family. I did not always value them, but at one point God showed me, that if I wanted more revelation, I needed to take care of the revelation He has already given me. I began to write up the revelations, logging them, all on paper. I had them tucked away. As 2015 came to a close, God directed me to start typing up these Revelations and store them on our computer. I then felt led in my Spirit that there would be a platform to share them with others.
As my wife (who is far more talented than I with computers and technologies) helped me set this site up. We actually had a completely different name, one I had picked out years ago. The Lord then gave me the first Revelation for this blog (Make straight A Highway, A Path for the Lord). As I meditated on this Revelation, God showed me the connection between a Road Construction Crew, and what He calls us to do as believers and followers of Christ. Living in the season we are living in, we need to start preparing our hearts first, and the earth second for the return of Jesus Christ.
roadcrew 40 | 3 is taking the scripture from Isaiah and applying it to our daily life.
I pray that if you find yourself here, take the time, and let the Holy Spirit lead you to read the posts that will help you the most. He has given me these Revelations to change, shape, mold my life to be more like Christ and to share them with those He leads to this blog. I pray that they bless you and help you in accomplishing His will for your life. Please appreciate that many of these were birthed from the most difficult tests I have ever faced in my life, a place God may desire to take you to. If you find yourself in trials and testing hopefully these posts will encourage and strengthen you in your situation to overcome. Revelation 12:11 states that, “They triumphed over him [Satan] by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” (emphasis added) These posts are the words of my testimony.
God has a deep, eternal desire to be near to us, but the choice is up to us. If we prepare our hearts and make a way for Him, He will come and be present in our lives everyday. Amen.
Thanks for checking out my blog!
