Right on Track

Christians, have you ever been tested by God Almighty?  Have you truly been challenged in your faith? Have you ever been put in a position where you wondered, “Did I Really hear from God?” or “Am I a raving mad lunatic?”  I have faced trials as such, I have been put in scenarios by God where I have thought I was crazy, wondered if I was off track, thought, “Would a loving God really make me…?”.  The interesting thing is that through all the adventures, I was right on track, right in the will of God, He was right there with me despite the odd or unusual circumstances. I say they were odd or unusual but I must clarify that they only “seemed” that way compared to what we Christians today believe living a “blessed life” truly is.

In fact, when I read the Word, especially Paul’s type situations, we may wonder what was wrong in this man’s life. Would God put Him through all of those tests and trials?  Not many people could be MORE ON TRACK than He was. I challenge us Christians, I truly believe personally as well as believe that the Word is clear that in the END DAYS (which we are living in) we will face trials.  Us Christians in America, not just the Chinese church or Middle East Church.

With that being said I want to encourage you.  If you find yourself in a situation that looks impossible to get out of, is full of hardships, trials, dying to your physical man.  You see nothing happening physically but you know that you know that God put you there, you are RIGHT ON TRACK! God puts people who He really loves and cares about through some of the most difficult circumstances.  Why? His word says that He chastens those He loves. He is changing you, molding you, refining you, so He can USE you. Don’t get delusions of grandeur, it might not be for an international ministry, it might be as simple as being a better: father, mother, son, daughter, relative, friend, co-worker or witness to the lost.

God promises to work everything for your good, if you love Him and are called according to His will and plan for your life.  Much like the tracks for a train, the will of God is already laid out there for you. As long as you keep moving, at a safe and controlled pace, nothing should derail you.  You can go through valleys, mountains, over raging rivers, around tight bends, through dark tunnels, but God has the path laid out, all we must do is obediently follow it. Don’t try and figure out all the stops, don’t try and get ahead of the track right in front of you, just keep chugging along and you will find the journey much easier.

Thank you Father God for loving us so very much.  We know when we feel Your presence the least, You are the nearest to us.  Please help us to lean into You, love You, praise You, as we watch You work it all out for our good and Your Glory.  Help us to realize that as long as we are in Your will, You will justify us being ‘Right on Track’, in Jesus name, Amen.

Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the roads that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is that gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.  Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained for it.  Hebrews 12:11

Are they servants of Christ?  (I am out of my mind to talk like this.)  I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again.  Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move.  I have been in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow jews, in danger from the Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country,; in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked.   II Corinthians 11:23-27 Could this man possibly be in the will of God?  Absolutely RIGHT ON TRACK!!!

We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. Romans 8:28 (AMP)
